About Me
My first experience of assisting people therapeutically occurred a number of years ago when working with youngsters to improve their skills in Cricket. I coached at both Regional and National levels in Wales and I subsequently attained a Masters Degree in Sports Development and Coaching. I subsequently attained my teaching qualification (PGCE) from the then University of Wales in Newport and a Bachelor's Degree in Education

I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) 404613 and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) NCS 22-02141 and a member of the National Council for Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP). I adhere to the BACP’s ethical framework which jointly protects both counsellor and client in and out of the counselling room. I am fully insured as a counsellor and I have an up to date DBS certificate, which can be viewed upon request.
I have previously volunteered at Concern Cymru and Cardiff MIND. I am now volunteering at the bereavement charity CRUSE.
I am now training and working with Relate the Relationships and Couples counselling organisation, whilst also studying to be a Clinical Supervisor with New Pathways while completing a Master's Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at USW Newport.
