Qualified CPCAB Level 6 Counselling Supervisor Supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors
I am a qualified CPCAB Level 6 Counselling Supervisor offering supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors.
My approach is integrative, drawing on Person-Centred, CBT, Existential and Psychodynamic perspectives. I aim to provide supervision that is supportive, reflective and collaborative, while also offering appropriate professional challenge.
I believe the quality of the supervisor-supervisee relationship is central to effective supervision. Supervision should provide a space where counsellors can think openly about their work, explore
uncertainty, reflect on difficult client material and develop greater confidence in their own practice.

My current Master's research project focuses on the supervisory relationship from the supervisee's perspective, including trust, support, feedback, empathy, challenge and professional development.
I welcome trainee counsellors undertaking clinical placements and qualified practitioners at different stages of their careers. I recognise the financial commitment involved in counsellor training and offer reduced supervision rates for current trainees.
My previous professional background includes more than twenty years working within equality, diversity and inclusion, which continues to inform my approach to counselling and supervision.
